   Limewire isn't illegal. Sharing copyrighted songs is. Not that it's ever stopped anyone before…

   Your best bet is to pay a buck at Itunes. Use limewire and get sued. You can try http://www.skreemr.com but i do not know if it is legal.

   LimeWire has viruses — try something else.

   It's not illegal to use it to download NONCOPYRIGHTED songs. However, it's always illegal to get copyrighted songs without paying for them.

   mp3.com is a good one for buying legal music.

   If you want to listen to tunes while on the Internet, check out pandora.com . It's free, legal, and has all your favorite music.

   There have been many debates over if Limewire is illegal. You may get several responses showing pros/cons. But my answer is no. Limewire is a filesharing program that enables users to swap information (songs, videos, etc.) back and forth free of charge. After all, filesharing programs like Limewire and Kazaa have been running for years and courts have failed to shut them down numerous times. Why? Because they aren't illegal. Trust me, if they were illegal, our Government would have put an end to it long ago.

    kni7es is wrong lime wire is illegal and it does stop people.Any way back to your question. Itunes is legal but it does cost $00.99 a song.any legal website that gives songs u have to pay for but all the ones that are for free are illegal.
